The communications activities of the ASCLME project are driven by Claire Attwood, a freelance journalist and public relations consultant who has a thorough knowledge of the LME approach to ocean governance through her work with the Benguela Current LME Programme.
As a writer and editor, Claire specialises in fisheries and maritime related subjects. She has been appointed by the ASCLME project to:
• manage website content
• profile the ASCLME project in the region
• liaise with the media
• develop communications materials such as films, newsletters, displays and brochures.
Claire holds an honours degree in Journalism
and Media Studies from Rhodes University. She is married with two children, aged seven and eight. |
