The ASCLME Landsat ETM+ archive presents a user-friendly gateway for
selected multispectral remotely sensed data collected over the ASCLME
countries. Images are provided in a format optimized specifically for
coastal applications: general specifications are SLC-on and SLC-off,
1999 - present, GeoTIFF, WGS-84, all visible and panchromatic bands. At
least one image is presented for each path/row, and depending on
availability and quality, several images may be provided.
The UNDP/GEF Agulhas and Somali Current Large Marine Ecosystems (ASCLME)
Project and the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD) are
jointly conducting a regionally consistent, high resolution assessment
of seagrass beds, estuaries and mangroves for the ASCLME countries,
using these Landsat data. See the ASCLME website for more details
(http://www.asclme.org).
Data from this archive may be downloaded and used without restriction,
but acknowledgement of the UNDP/GEF Agulhas and Somali Current Large
Marine Ecosystems (ASCLME) Project and the Institut de Recherche pour le
Développement (IRD) is requested. Copies of any resulting publications
would be appreciated. To send documents, and for any queries, please

We strongly recommend the use of a download manager to ensure you receive the files correctly, particularly on a slow and/or unreliable connection. Free Download Manager works very well; you only need the Lite version..
