Providing organisational support to the manager of a project that involves eight countries, requires initiative, good judgment and excellent communication skills - attributes that Helen Mackenzie, personal assistant to David Vousden, demonstrates daily. Helen has 16 years of experience in sales and communications and has worked as personal assistant to the managing director of the National Inquiry Services Centre (NISC) and the vice principal at Rhodes University.
In addition to her secretarial qualifications, Helen has completed a Higher Diploma in Business Management and a Management Development Programme, through Rhodes University. She is looking forward to providing assistance to the ASCLME project’s policy and governance coordinator, once he or she is appointed to the project team.
Helen is married and has an eight-year-old daughter. |
